Excellent article. And hopefully energy efficiency evaluated on a system basis will continue to be a strong design goal for motion systems moving forward.

Agreed, industrial application should be synonymous with efficiency.

The amount of energy lost as heat in an industrial environment would make future generations sick hearing about it...
