Thanks MrDon. I, too, am a fan of the FrankenKindle Gadet Freak. I think it's one of our all-time best.

Again, congrats to all for making this the valuable content that it is.  I didn't know Design News has been online since '96.  Early technology adopter-not surprising!

I also want to extend my congratulations to Design News for the honor.   I can certainly understand why the award was given and being a consulting engineer, I can tell you that it does provide "news you can use".  I have contacted several vendors after seeing an article about a new product or service and have always mentioned I read about their product on Design News.  The great quality of reporting certainly comes from hours of dedicated effort provided by those contributing to the publication.  One of the most valuable features of the process is the ability to post messages and receive responses to those postings.   All I can say is keep up the great work.

I'm proud to be part of a publication that's won such a top honor. When I joined the DN editorial staff 8 months ago (has it been that short?) I was pleasantly surprised by all the interaction on the website, between editors and readers, and between readers, too. I've learned a lot from the comments sections, both about the fields I cover at DN and for dealing with practical issues, such as buying the right generator. I'm glad for the chance to research and write about a wide range of topics at different stages of commercialization, from promising R&D projects to finished products.

Thanks much, Rob, but we certainly couldn't have acheived what we have in the past year without the tireless efforts of our writers/contributors. Congratulations to all of you, you know who you are, and a big thank you for making Design News such a great success!

Congratulations! Very well deserved. Amid all of the successful online content dedicated to other sectors such as entertainment and politics, "tech" news is often dominated by consumer electronics and software development. DesignNews does a fantastic job of recognizing the tenets of elegant design across the varied range of technological research and development. So glad to learn that others appreciate this too!  =]
