Craig, thanks for a clear, thorough summary of gasket choices in the different application areas that Design News covers. I especially appreciate the fact that your discussion combines gasket types, materials, and uses with the related adhesives, as appropriate.

Selecting the perfect gasket is an important step in the design of a process system as choosing the correct gasket from the beginning can result in significant savings due to longer gasket life, reduced gasket failure and lower leak rates.
