PL-80270 is an Economical 4.3 inch Fanless Open Frame Touch Panel Computer designed
as a Human Machine Interface (HMI). The fanless device can be used in a number
of application environments including amusement/arcade center management
systems, medical, manufacturing and process control systems. It provides
graphics-based visualization of specialized computer processes such as
programmable automation controllers (PAC), programmable logic controllers (PLC)
and distributed control system (DCS). The PL-80270 is able to communicate with
back-end management systems via an onboard Ethernet port.
The device includes Windows CE 6.0 OS installed on
the Flash ROM. In addition, WIN provides a driver, API and sample code. Sample
code covers Digital I/O, card-reader, RS-232, NVRAM, 2D graphics, multi-media
playback and networking.
