CONEC's IP67-rated connectors allow designers to
incorporate data ports in harsh environments. The family features a 1/6th turn
bayonet coupling for fast and secure mate/unmate, with gloved hands. For
chemical resistance, UV resistance, EMI shielding and tolerance to physical
abuse, CONEC's connectors come in three different housing materials: plastic (with color code options black, blue,
green, yellow, red, white), metalized plastic and nickel-plated, zinc die-cast.
The line
includes a variety of panel-mounted receptacles, mating plugs, protective caps
and pre-terminated jumper cables including cables suitable for outdoor use and
direct burial with jackets that can be color coded to match the in-line
couplers. The IP67 RJ45 connectors have a secure connection and are dustproof
and weatherproof, with a silicone ring seal that makes a watertight connection
to the panel.
Useful applications
include industrial machinery, security and surveillance equipment, test and
measurement equipment and GPS systems and communications. The connectors
provide increased protection from contamination and moisture in addition to
mechanical stability, temperature resistance, vibration immunity and EMI/RFI
shielding.
