Coatings International announced the availability of Vueguard 941 anti-static
coating, for plastic products required to dissipate a static charge.
Vueguard 941 is a crystal-clear, solvent-based, UV-curable
coating that maintains optical clarity on molded plastics. It is designed for
applications where a permanent, clear coating is required to dissipate or
prevent a static charge. A typical use would be to prevent static build-up on a
personal electronic display. Vueguard 941 can be applied via spray, dip, spin,
roll or flow coating.
Californiaís plan to mandate an electric vehicle market isnít the first such undertaking and certainly wonít be the last. But as the Golden State ratchets up for its next big step toward zero-emission vehicle status in 2018, it might be wise to consider a bit of history.
