Here's a list of steps you should take when you need gutter cleaning on your home.

1.  Gather names and numbers
Get out the phone book or search the internet for local companies.  Write down at least 4 gutter companies that you want to call and then give them a call for a bid.

2.  Compare Apples to Apples
Ask what gutter service they will be providing.  The cheapest price you get might not be the best.  Be sure to ask them what their cleaning method is.  One company might blow gutter debris all over your yard and house siding, while another company might hand-scoop your gutters leaving your property spotless!
A cheap price might be a warning sign.

3.  Ask about tax
Tax could easily put $10 or $20 dollars on your bid, so ask to see if it's included in the bid
