The work place is disjointed and packed with jealousy.

The education system is weak.

People are greedy.

Honestly, it is hard to make it happen in the work place. Trust is the number one factor when it comes to good collaboration. Like Woz and Jobs, they had each other's backs, they were close friends. Without that level of closeness, everyone is on their own, to be honest. Hapless salary people.

On education - a student about to finish his EE degree told me he didn't take a single programming class past intro to Java. That is a growing trend for many in the engineering field. The lack of strong MCU programming classes will be the USA's undoing.

Just a thought.
