Designed to promote increased reliability and machine uptime by protecting against potential damage caused by the passage of electric currents in ac and dc motors, the INSOCOAT electrically-insulated rolling bearings feature a thin aluminum oxide layer. The layer is meant to form an excellent barrier against electric arcing, which typically causes fluting damage to roller and raceways or grease oxidation.
