Targeting continuous-use applications such as pump, fan or scanner devices, these RoHS-compliant motors have cog-free motion, using a neodymium rare-earth-magnet rotor and "System Faulhaber" skewed winding. With electronic commutation, the bearings are the only limit to the life of these motors. The 1525 Ö BRC motor is 25 mm long and 15 mm in diameter and can achieve a continuous torque of 1.8 mNm at speeds as high as 16,000 rpm, and the 3153 Ö BRC motor is 53 mm long, and 31 mm in diameter; it has a 28 mNm continuous torque at speeds as high as 6,500 rpm.
