Kennedyronna, Agreed sometimes the issue get resolved by kneading by ice or wearing jumpers kness it is not necessary to replace the knee it varies from requirement to requirement .

Although these replacements are becomming very common these days but then also it is not that easy to follow the procedure , I have read in some paper that hip replacement will increase to 174% more in the next 20 years and knee replacement will rise to 673% times more . But the main issue with these replacements is for how much time they sustain for how long they go well if 20% of these replacements are done yearly than 10% have to be done again either because of the defected original device and so on and this takes more time in hospitals more money and it make things more ectic as well.

Thanks Alot for such an interesting post artificial knees and hip replacement are becomming very popular these days . But research has shown that toxins are released from the material which can cause problems in the body Prosthesis releases particles of plastic ,metal and ceremic that can cause inflammation ,change in tissues and even genetic instability .

That's a good post but Patellofemoral Dysfunction, aka patellofemoral syndrome, commonly affects young athletes in a variety of sports.According to the book on patellar tendonitis the Athletes complain of symptoms including difficulty with stairs, occasional swelling, and sometimes "painful popping" when getting out of a chair. But this can be cured by kneading by ice and wearing jumper's knee while riding, playing etc
