Bluetooth Headsets continue to offer more capabilities and less size. The Z9 from Australian-based BlueAnt Wireless offers what it calls Voice Isolation Technology. VIT uses the BlueCore-Multimedia platform from CSR plc, which includes a DSP that isolates voice signals from background noise and enhances the frequencies that affect both incoming and outgoing voices. Its Voice Isolation Max setting boosts filtering for extremely noisy environments. The headset, which lasts through five hours of talk time or 200 hours in standby, weighs only 0.35 oz and measures 1.5 inches in length. Suggested retail is $99.
