This company's Vertisockets™line has been expanded to include the 800 Series, which is horizontally mounted on .400 centers. The product has 22 pins and is said to accept standard LEDs and incandescent displays. Standard body material is UL 94-HB glass-filled nylon, with high temperature UL 94V-0 4/6 nylon optional, in a variety of standard and custom sizes and configurations. Bifurcated contacts and restricted entry for contact protection are also standard.

Support rods

Fusion splice support rods are made of glass ground to a half moon shape to provide supports for fiber optic fusion splices. The product is made of inert borosilicate glass or quartz, will not affect the bonding process, and is ground and polished according to customer specifications. Additionally, the walls can be made parallel to eliminate distortion.
