Vernon's latest tube cutting machine offers plasma-cutting profiles and holes in diameters from 1-6 inches O.D., and rectangular tubing up to 7½-inch cross section. It uses 4-axis simultaneous motion, rigid construction and plasma cut quality as good as lasers. Its Windows-based operating system can work with all common intersection and hole shapes. It has a new "Sketch and Cut" drafting program that uses AutoCAD software. The program can insure accurate fit-up on all tube joints, using preset torch bevel angles. A high-speed Internet connection between the machine and the factory offers real-time service when needed.
