Multi-wave motor
High-pressure fluid, directed through pressure-balanced
port facings to the rotor's axial cylinder bores, force
half the pistons to roll down the cam slopes, producing
rotation.
As the rotor turns, the remaining pistons roll up the
cam slopes, expelling the fluid between them to the
low-pressure return ports.
Each of its nine pistons go through four complete cycles
per revolution resulting in 36 power strokes. Parabolic-cam
contours produce constant, ripple-free torque.

Machine vision
Unlike most machine vision systems, the F30 is easy
to configure without extensive training. The F30 system
sets up in minutes using a five button keypad. With
a list price of $2,500, the F30 opens machine vision
to users inhibited by cost/complexity issues.
Its compact size, integrated ring light and lens, and
simple wiring make it a good fit for applications where
space is limited. Adjustable shutter speed of 1/60-1/4,000
sec and high-speed processing let the user adjust the
vision system to keep pace with production times.

Dual-diameter coupling
Rigid couplings offer high torque capacity with zero
backlash. Two-piece couplings, available with or without
keyways and with different-diameter bores in both metric
and inch sizes, have opposing hardware that improves
dynamic balance.
Full-depth keyways provide full torque capacity and
a reliable fit, while forged sockets increase torquability.
To compensate for shafts that vary slightly from nominal
size, a crosscut design allows for clamping each shaft
individually.

Isolation plug
Pluggable relay module with electrical isolation protects
personnel and equipment in applications such as chemical
and refining. A separator inside the relay provides
sufficient air and creepage distances between control
and switching sides to ensure safe electrical isolation
and to prevent voltage transfer.
Providing fast, secure connection for AWG 28-14, the
module offers design flexibility, low maintenance, and
plugs into two- or four-conductor terminal blocks that
use WAGO's CAGE CLAMP connection technology.

Match taper
Making tapered threads in brass, aluminum, or other
difficult-to-roll materials is challenging. Attachment
"walking" or "screw jacking" during
cold forming result in flaking, slivering, and poor
thread finish.
The match taper uses skewed rolls so that the large
diameter of the thread roll works the large diameter
of the workpiece, and the small diameter of the thread
roll works the small diameter of the workpiece. Match
taper more accurately tracks the roll on the part to
reduce roll slippage and thread-roll wear.
