These actuators use lug mounting to give them short coupling between rod guides and the piston heads, providing reaction to side loads and moments. They use enlarged piston rods, making them stronger and giving them a better reaction to side loads. Close-fitting guides, made out of rigid bearing bronze, further boost reaction to side loads and moments. They come in 1/10-inch-increment strokes, and are rated for 1,500 psi hydraulic service.
