The company has added a Programmable Limit Switch (PLS) to its SilverDust controller/driver for servo control of NEMA 17 and 23 frame microstep motors. The PLS command can be configured to use any of the motion controller's possible 23 I/O to change states at more than 150 predefined trigger points. The controller compares the stepmotor position with the trigger position every 120 msec. When the trigger point is reached, the state of the I/O toggles automatically and the PLS command looks for the next trigger point.
The Smart Emergency Response System capitalizes on the latest advancements in cyber-physical systems to connect autonomous aircraft and ground vehicles, rescue dogs, robots, and a high-performance computing mission control center into a realistic vision.
