Joyce/Dayton Corp. has developed its latest adjustable torque limiters that may integrate with the Steelbelt Speed Reducer line. An alternative to electronic or external limiters, the adjustable Steelbelt Torque Limiter uses a slip clutch assembly in an oil bath. The clutch slips automatically to reduce downtime and minimize machine damage. The torque limiters may be used in equipment with overload protection, like conveyors, bottling machines, overhead doors, gate operators, and steel processing equipment.
