A new tube fitting from Swagelok has a patented design that helps
installers make consistent, leak-tight tube connections in instrumentation,
industrial, and hydraulic applications. The fitting's back ferrule is engineered
for hinging during installation, which seals and gripsto reduce leakage. The
ferrule design absorbs and directs installation torque, as well as vibration.
The fitting for 316 stainless steel tubing is available in ¼-, 3/8-, and ½-inch
sizes and metric sizes.
