The 8231 and 8232 one-part urethane vacuum-forming adhesives are medium-viscosity liquids that can be automatically spray-applied to substrates including PVC, ABS, primed polyolefins, fiber board, and similar materials. Requiring a low bondline temperature, 8231 can be used safely with polyolefin foam-backed vinyl, while 8232 works with expanded PVC cover stock. Both products provide high initial bond strengths and are for use in deeply contoured parts such as door panels, interior pillar components, and instrument panels.

Producing high-quality end-production metal parts with additive manufacturing for applications like aerospace and medical requires very tightly controlled processes and materials. New standards and guidelines for machines and processes, materials, and printed parts are underway from bodies such as ASTM International.
