The NLB 331 high-pressure water jet pump is mobile and easily converts to different operating pressures. The pump has a 330-hp diesel engine and offers a range of pressure between 8,000 and 20,000 psi (552 to 1,400 bar). Flows range from 24 to 58 gmp (91 to 219 Ipm). The plunger pump reportedly minimizes wear and tear; corrosion- resistant stainless steel also increases the pump's life. Designed to adapt to pneumatic cylinder pistons and provide extra cushioning, NuCushion eliminates the need for the bleed needle assembly, cushion spud, and spud seal. PROPORTIONAL SOLENOID VALVE

Design eliminates friction

The typical power consumption of this single-stage, direct-acting 400 series PSV is 5W. The design of these PSVs includes a suspended armature mated with hard seats which eliminate friction and make the valve highly repeatable with low hystersis. The valves in these specific PSVs offer a flow rate that is linearly proportional to the input current. The flow capacity reaches a Cv of 0.20 over a pressure range of 25 to 70 psi with normal air flow rates of 120 slpm at 25 psig inlet. MINI DIAPHRAM SEAL

Designed for use in small spaces

The Ashcroft^® Type 310 mini diaphragm seal has made some changes concerning the size of the male NPT process connections; the sizes range from 1/8 to 1 NPT. This is in addition to threaded female NPT connections. While the pressure ratings of 2,500 psi remain the same and the coding also remains the same, the newer diaphragm seal protects transducers, mini switches, and 3.5-inch or smaller pressure gauges from corrosive media, plugging, or freeze-up. The 2.5 low W coil used in the new Norgren-KIP Fluid Controls Breast Pump increases the battery life of the pump. The solenoid valve has a double-ended plunger to reduce noise. The ECODRIVE C's series is compatible with ac servo drives in the 100-750W power range, with 230V ac single or three-phase power input. ECODRIVE C's dimensions are just 55 mm wide, 182 mm high and 170 mm deep (2.17 x 7.17 x 69). COMPACT SOLENOID VALVE

Design flexibility

The Humphrey HEA/HEB Series solenoid valves have a wide range of offerings. The solenoid valves deliver a 0.07-Cv flow rate, are 10 mm wide, and have a response time of 6 msec when on 7 msec when off. The HEA/HEB Series solenoid valves are offered in a standard 0.55W version or a low power 0.15W version, and can also be mounted as a single unit, with base piping, or on F,A, and AJ manifolds. The HEA series come in 2-,3-, and 5-port configurations while the HEB series come in only 2- and 3-port configurations. Both the HEA and HEB series can come with single and double solenoids. PARALLEL VALVE SYSTEM

Designed for wide load variations that are beyond the range of a single valve, the S-Transfer Parallel Valve System resolves poor control situations, safety valve "popping" problems, and intermittent steam-main pressure problems. Control valves and regulators inside the valve transfer flow from valve to valve, depending on the steam load. GUIDED ACTUATOR

Combines two aspects of actuators

The EMY2 electric guided slide table actuator has been engineered to combine the smooth operation, flexibility, and accuracy of a stepper motor with the quick setup, simple actuation, and low cost of its pneumatic element. EMY2 includes a control box for manual operation, the ability to be actuated using only a solenoid valve, four status outputs, and five LEDs for visual indication. The actuator, available in two sizes, can handle up to 70 lbs with stroke lengths from 50 to 1000 mm.
