Pipe lighting device extracts light
The PolyBrightTM is for extracting light uniformly over the length of a light pipe device and uses abrasions or a pattern of serrations on light-pipe panels. Light introduced into the panel by any light source, such as LED, incandescent, or halogen, bounces off the abrasions or serrations and out the smooth, or active, surface of the panel. Optiglo® backlighting device is uniform, heat-free, and thin. A Uniglo etching design is developed for each application, and an injection mold is produced for the final design, allowing low-cost volume production of the backlighting device.

Connector addresses on board space issues
The V-BiteTM PCB Edge Mount RF connector features a small footprint and low profile, both of which address limited board space issues. The incidences of slippage during soldering are virtually non-existent when using the V-Bite. The connector also eliminates the reflection factor, as it features the optimum VSWR of 1.15:1. Featuring all-mechanical construction, the V-Bite connector is slotted to mount centered on PCB's edge, thus minimizing board real estate usage.

Interface pads provide path to fill air gaps
THERMFLOWTM low thermal resistance interface pads provide a highly thermally conductive path to fill air gaps and make heat sinks function more effectively at cooling high-performance microprocessors. THERMFLOW pads replace grease, a potential board contaminant, as a thermally conductive interface. The pads have been engineered as a dry film that softens at microprocessor operating temperatures. This "phase change" into a grease-like consistency achieves intimate contact with the processor and heat sink mating surfaces, resulting in enhanced heat flow.

Safety mat system custom-sizes shapes
The Soft Tactile Transducer Sensor (STTS) Safety Mat SystemTM is a hybrid design that combines features to meet and surpass both domestic and international safety standards. The STTS system is a tactile sensor that provides information regarding the distribution and magnitude of tactile force applied to its surface. This technology involves the continuous and variable measuring of tactile forces of pressure. In some respects, tactile sensing for electromechanical devices is analogous to the human sense of touch--information about the amount and distribution of tactile pressure over a surface can be received and transmitted.

System is for micro card interfaces
The Flex Card SystemTM consists of a body design on the header that allows snap-on card guides. The system allows the user to design their add-on boards to fit their system by using headers cut to the required position with card guides snapped on. The user then solders as many flex card systems as needed on their main board for their number of add-on boards possibly needed for each unique design of their system. The user then configures each system individually and uniquely based on the add-on boards used.
