Highest speed in its class
IDEC's newest micro controller comes with a new logic engine that can process basic instructions in 0.056 sec. It has field upgradeable firmware, more program memory and up to seven communications ports. These ports can accommodate a bar code reader, printer, Ethernet connection, modem or any RS232C-compatible device. It comes in standard "brick" design, with 10, 16 or 24 I/Os, or book type, at 16 or 32 I/Os, and users can use add-on modules to customize their controller. They also come with a 62.4 kB programming capacity, online editing, up to 56 analog points, built-in 100 kHz high-speed counters and 100 kHz pulse outputs, 32-bit data processing, floating point math, built-in Modbus master/slave, up to 512 I/Os, and a large number of timers, counter, internal relays and data registers. IDEC also offers WindLDR 5.0 programming software to go with the controller.
