Bimba reports that many engineers are now taking advantage of a new CAD capability on its website at www.bimba.com. Starting with a database of native CAD files, users can parametrically generate drawings of numerous cylinder types on the fly, customizing parameters such as stroke length and rod extension to 1/1000th of an inch. The benefit: Quicker turnaround times for CAD models.
