Interact 5.2 machine-control MMI software now features year 2000 compliance, new tools and editing features, 256-color bitmap support, and new import capabilities. Applications include control-panel replacement, historical trending, and networking. Interact's architecture allows users to select from a range of modules including 3-D panel tools, graphics, alarms, recipes, trending, and networking. Interact runs on any standard PC or can be bundled on a PowerStation workstation. An evaluation CD-ROM includes a working version of the software.
