The new AM Air Monitoring System from MIDAC (www.midac.com) can detect, identify, and measure a wide range of compounds simultaneously within seconds. This compact interferometer measures at just 8 ◊ 14 ◊ 8 inches, weighs only 40 lbs, and can be powered by a 12V car battery, allowing for freedom of movement. Each system includes a 0.5 cm-1 resolution interferometer equipped with your choice of beamsplitter and detector, and can be used to provide detection at ppb to percent levels for hundreds of chemicals for such applications as battlefield chemical warfare analysis, civilian hazardous event response, or industrial stack and/or fenceline monitoring analysis.
