This company says that its Clarex®Non-Glare (AG) optical quality acrylic sheets have a fine surface etching which reduces glare on electronic display panels. Sheets are available in stock and custom sizing, two different hardness grades, and in thicknesses from 0.2 to 5 mm. Applications include electronic display panels such as cell phones, notebook computers, video cameras, marine and automotive electronics, and avionics.

Polymer components
This company says aircraft manufacturers have found that its PEEK polymer components are lightweight and cost effective replacements for aluminum. The PEEK 450GL30, a 30% glass-filled composite, used in cable clips and conduits, is said to have high strength and resistance to fire and chemicals. The 30% carbon fiber-filled PEEK 450CA30 replaces aluminum retainers in luggage racks.

Oils and greases
This company has recently expanded and renamed its line of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) lubricants. Now called Uniflor™, the products are divided into five series for different applications. More than 50 different greases are available which can be enhanced with additives including anti-corrosives, rust inhibitors, and UV dyes. Non-flammable UniFlor oils are also available in a wide range of viscosities, some of which offer low vapor pressure.
