Savage (www.savagearm.com) has introduced the AccuTrigger™, with trigger pulls adjustable from about 2.5 to 6 lbs in most 2004 centerfire hunting models and adjustable from about 1.5 to 6 lbs in the 12 Series Varmint and Law Enforcement Series. Most triggers today have heavy pulls to prevent accidental discharge; AccuTrigger allows shooters to set the trigger pull to their preference without paying a visit to a gunsmith. It also features AccuRelease™, which must be completely depressed to allow the rifle to discharge.
