Advanced Polymer Alloys has developed a clear grade of its Alcryn Melt-Processible Rubber (MPR). Called Alcryn MPR 2060CL, the new material adds clarity to the MPR's well-known resistance to flex fatigue, chemical resistance, and ability to bond to flexible PVC. Sciaky, provider of electron-beam additive manufacturing (EBAM) services, will start selling these machines commercially in September. The company has used its EBAM 3D printing technology for making very large, high-value, metal prototypes and production parts for aerospace and defense OEMs.
