HyperShape(reg)/Pro design tool software is for rapidly generating optimum structured designs based on fundamental structural requirements and is completely integrated with the Pro/ENGINEER(reg) CAD/CAM system. The HyperShape/Pro design process begins by constructing a simple solid model of the package space in Pro/ENGINEER. Load and boundary conditions are then directly applied to the solid model. The optimization problem is set up and solved by HyperShape/Pro in the background and the results are brought into Pro/ENGINEER for visualization.
