The integrated design provides the brushless motor as the driving force and the inverted roller screw as the power transmission, along with an electronic feedback source. The actuator provides continuous thrust ratings to 8,000 lbs and speed to 40 inches/sec. The roller-screw mechanism provides lead accuracy of 0.001 inch/linear ft. Zero-backlash units are available.
