Galil's latest generation PCI-bus motion controller provides precise motion control for stepper and servo motors for up to eight axes of motion. Intended for high accuracy systems such as wafer positioners, a risc-based clock multiplying processor at the heart of its controller offers servo update times that are four times faster and command processing times that are 10 times faster than the company's previous generation of controllers, for the same price.
