Small, reliable and durable
Made for use with telecommunications, consumer, automotive and industrial equipment, this connector is designed for high performance in a smaller size. It is 2.7 × 2.7 mm, and only 1.6 mm tall, but supports signal frequencies up to 6 GHz and incorporates 3-degree misalignment. A Test Port version is available for testing electronic circuitry, and an Accessory Port version can test and redirect signals through an external transmitting element. Its snap-on interface lasts for 100 mating cycles, and the Accessory Port version's cradle interface can take more than 5,000 mating cycles. It has a split insulator design, sandwiching Beryllium copper contacts between two liquid crystal polymer insulators. It has a copper alloy (phosphorous bronze) shell, with a second layer of matte tin (for the Test Port version) or gold-over-nickel (for the Accessories Port version).
