Temposonics III Series position sensors with DeviceNet(TM) interface are for transferring data in industrial automation applications requiring 0.001-inch resolution in measuring lengths up to 300 inches. The sensors feature a resolution of up to 2 microns at up to 7,500 internal measurements per second standard, non-linearity of 0.02%, and low hysterisis of 0.004 mm. Other features include a choice of polling- or bit-strobe sensor communications and absolute displacement outputs enabling instant recognition of machine position after power-loss recovery.
