SMMA-The Motor & Motion Association is offering a college course called "The Fundamentals of Brushless dc Motor Control" on Nov. 3 as a precursor to its 2004 Fall Technical Conference in St. Louis. The course will cover the concepts for designing and applying dc and brushless motor drives. Following the course, the Fall Conference is scheduled to highlight the design and analysis of motors and drives, new materials, and simulation and testing.
