Synergetix, the creator of the do-it-yourself design tool SocketBuilder.com, has announced its version 2.0. The new version of SocketBuilder will expand the site's offering of automated design for QFN packages and Area Array packages and will enable customers to design floating nest test sockets for BGA devices. Another upgrade includes a customer probe override for heavier users who want to control their own spring probe choices.
