T Squared Manufacturing Corp. (www.tsquaredpumps.com) has been acquired by Parker Hannifin (www.parker.com) for an undisclosed amount. T Squared makes specialty diaphragm pumps for gases in life science applications and will be part of Parker's Automation Group, Pneutronics division (Hollis, NH). "The acquisition will position Parker's Pneutronics Division as the sole provider of both miniature solenoid valves and pump technology for life science applications," says Bob Bond, Parker Automation president.
Sciaky, provider of electron-beam additive manufacturing (EBAM) services, will start selling these machines commercially in September. The company has used its EBAM 3D printing technology for making very large, high-value, metal prototypes and production parts for aerospace and defense OEMs.
