The new Space Technology Center, located in Mountain View, CA at NASA Research Park near the NASA Ames Research Center, opened in February as a consortium of academic, industrial, and government partners. The partnerships will focus on education, workforce development, research, and technology transfer in such fields as energy, information technology, biotechnology, sensors, and wireless communication.
