The NextMove ESB provides seven axes of motion control—up to three axes of servo and four axes of steppers—if used with Baldor drives. The 4-mm mid-mount reflow motor is part of the fourth-generation SMT micro-vibration motors. The new mid-mount motor design, because it can be mounted through the PC board, further reduces the profile by an additional 2 mm. At a height similar to that of a shield, the motor can readily be mounted under a taller housing component such as a battery, making it suitable for thin-profile products.
