SERVO CONTROLLERS
Compact, powerful, and simple
The two models of Lenze SimpleServo—Model 94 SimpleServo® and the Model 940 Position Servo—are developed to bridge the gap between very sophisticated servo technology and general-purpose drives. Reduced setup and programming time results in thousands of dollars of savings for Model 94 SimpleServo and Model 940 Position Servo users. With the addition of the Electronic Programmable Module or EPM, a specially designed plug-in memory chip, servo control parameters need only to be configured once, and can then be transferred to other 94 or 940 model controllers without having power applied to them. SimpleServo controllers can replace complex mechanical systems, such as line shafts and cams, clutches and brakes, pneumatic cylinders, and hydraulics. While both the Model 94 SimpleServo and the Model 940 Position Servo offer high performance, accuracy, and simplicity, the 940 Position Servo also features 64-bit programmable motion control, plus more inputs and outputs (I/O). Proven applications of the Model 94 SimpleServo and the Model 940 Position Servo include CNC equipment, semiconductor equipment, electronic assembly equipment, entertainment and simulations systems, and biomedical lab equipment.

HOLLOW-SHAFT GEARMOTORS
Save space, time, and money
The hollow shaft design of the right-angle ac, dc, and bldc gearmotors optimize mountings-saving on assembly labor and reducing the number of component parts. These are driving factors to consider hollow-shaft gearmotor solutions in a wide variety of applications including conveyors, printing and packaging machinery, and medical equipment. The gearmotor's hollow output shaft can be connected directly to the driven load. This interface eliminates expensive shaft couplings, and mounting hardware that can be unsafe and bulky, and present alignment issues. Eliminating maintenance inherent with chains and sprockets is an added bonus. Hollow-shaft gearmotor solutions include left- or right-hand face or flange mounts, based on individual requirements. With continuous output torques from 5.2 to 575 lb-inch and gear ratios from 5:1 to 3,600:1, Bodine hollow-shaft right-angle gearmotors offer output speeds from less than 1 rpm to over 500 rpm. The hollow bore size depends on the gearmotor used, but is typically from 0.5 to 1 inch.

MID-MOUNT REFLOW MOTOR
For thinner cell phones
The 4-mm mid-mount reflow motor is part of the fourth-generation SMT micro-vibration motors. The new mid-mount motor design, because it can be mounted through the PC board, further reduces the profile by an additional 2 mm. At a height similar to that of a shield, the motor can readily be mounted under a taller housing component such as a battery, making it suitable for thin-profile products. Applications such as ultra-thin cell phones, micro dispensers of fluids, blood sample diagnostics, and other applications requiring a low-cost, highly reliable vibration motor are just some of the uses for the mid-mount motor. The motor assembly weighs approximately 1.3 gm. The counterweight weighs approximately 0.7 gm. Motor operation is quiet due to the close tolerance of the shaft rotation. Standard voltage is 2V dc. Voltage range is 1.7V-2.6V. Standard load speed is 8,500 ±2,000 rpm at rated voltage. Standard load current is 130 mA or less at rated voltage. Actuation current (interlock current) is 150 mA or less. Operating temperature range is -10C to 60C. Storage temperature range is -40C to 85C.

MINIATURE SLIDE GUIDES
Tapped holes available on request
The Retained Ball Type (SEBS-B) and the all Stainless Steel Type (SEBS BM) allow for easy removal of the guide block from the rail without the loss of ball elements. This arrangement makes disassembly and reassembly of the block to the rail a simple and easy task, according the company. The metallic return caps of the SEBS BM increase usage versatility under special conditions, such as high temperature, clean room, and vacuum environments. Two raceway and four-point contact structure of the SEBS B types minimize height and give further advantage where space is limited. Guide rail mounting with clearance holes are standard.

VALVE SYSTEM
With independent intelligent control
The new GEN2E System takes the concept of distributed computing to the next logical step: Independent Intelligent ControlE of multiple sequential control operations. Instead of a central computer, each GEN2 valve module contains its own onboard programmed logic. This enables each module to communicate directly with other modules, both upstream and downstream, and make independent decisions based on its own individual program instructions. The system was designed for use on pneumatically powered accumulation conveyors, but the technology can be applied to non-pneumatic conveyor systems, as well as a range of sequential and proportional control applications in other industries. By eliminating the need for a central computer and its complex programming, the GEN2E System offers a wide range of opportunities to save money and improve productivity. The quick-connect design, called Plug & RunE technology, makes installation easy by reducing assembly time. Simple menu-driven programming enables users to select options to improve product density and throughput, to reduce energy costs, and, if desired, to reconfigure the entire system without reprogramming. While the system can function without a central computer, it can be connected to the LAN to provide operators with status and diagnostic information.
