These packages combine a 5-phase stepping motor with a microstepping driver. There is less vibration, speed fluctuations and audible noise due to a new, smooth drive function. The driver offers 25 preset angle selections up to a capability of 250 microsteps per full step during microstep operating mode. The basic step angle can be adjusted for a 2-phase stepping motor's step angles. This makes it easy to switch over from the 2-phase microstep mode, all without having to change input pulses. It measures 2.56 x 1.77x .98 inches, nearly half the size of a conventional full step driver, and it weighs only 1.4 ounces. It comes in 20 mm (0.79-inch), 28 mm (1.10-inch), 42 mm (1.65-inch), and 60 mm (2.36-inch) sizes. It comes with standard, high-torque, or geared model motors.
