The 315L/415L Series latching poppet valves have a single direct-acting solenoid that is designed for reliable operation. A momentary electrical signal changes the valve's position. Then the magnetic latching mechanism maintains that position until another signal returns the valve to the original position. This ensures continuous operation in a particular mode, even in the event of a facility power failure. The latching feature on the 315L/415L Series valves enables designers to replace a double-coil or double-solenoid valve, saving space.
