DMIS-based CAMIO flexible CAD-based inspection software
from LK Inc. produces a database from CAD data
which can be searched using an "explorer"
type browser. The program features full rendering capability.
The ability to import CAD data for programming coordinate
measuring machines speeds programming, the company adds.
FD/CAPTURETM Professional Edition from Int'l
TechneGroup Inc. features web page (HTML) output
capabilities for distributed team collaboration, customer
survey generation, creation of market opportunity maps,
and blank-chart template generation. QFD was developed
as a process to collect, analyze, and weigh customer
requirements, allowing user-driven wants to be prioritized
and designed into a new product or service in its early
stages of development, the company says.
CADKEYr 97 Release 2 from Baystate Technologies
is useful for everyday mechanical design because of
its intuitive user interface, ease of use, and short
learning curve, the company says. The software combines
wireframe, solid, and surface modeling; data translators;
and drafting.
MoogSize motor sizing program from Moog Inc.
enables the user to select a CE-compliant brushless
servomotor and matching electric drive for specific
applications. The program is Windows-only based and
provides walk-through setup and configuration of the
mechanical load and reducer stage. The program also
provides configuration of the motion profile through
which the load will move.
