The 1-mm miniature air motor develops up to 0.22 hp, 10,000 rpm, and maximum torque to 32 oz-inches with minimal air consumption. Features include externally anodized parts for corrosion resistance, hub mounting, any plane operation, and instant reversing capabilities. Applications include mixing equipment, conveyor and pump drives, and pharmaceutical packaging.
Two new technologies from Stratasys, created in partnership with Boeing, Ford, and Siemens, will bring accurate, repeatable manufacturing of very large thermoplastic end products, and much bigger composite parts, onto the factory floor for industries including automotive and aerospace.
