Phoenix Contact's solid-state Electronic Load Relays (ELRs) feature a large integrated heat sink at the base to deal with heat from switching high-power loads (up to 500V ac at 9A per phase). The devices can be used for motor control with inductive loads up to 4 kW or with resistive loads up to 7.5 kW without contact wear. A 24V dc signal activates the ELR switching circuit. The four types of ELRs can be wired with individual discrete terminations or ribbon-cable connectors used in the company's PLC System Cabling and INTERBUS(TM) systems.
