The Ion Digital Drive combines control, network connectivity and power amplification in three versions for single axis dc brush, dc brushless or stepper motors in a tidy, stand-alone module. Based on the Magellan motion processor, the Ion can work from any of several profiling modes selected by the user, including S-curve, trapezoidal, velocity contouring and electronic gearing.
