Featuring 2 Gbaud data rates per channel, the integrated SYMFC929 controller is designed to enable system designers to double I/O performance while enhancing host utilization and connectivity. Reported to be one of the first multifunctional devices supporting Fiber Channel Protocol (FCP) and Internet Protocol (IP) intermixed and simultaneously on both channels, IP and SCSI traffic can coexist in NT systems without the need for a full port driver.

These miniature 2W dc to dc converters offer extended temperature functionality that reportedly guarantees startup at temperatures down to -40C while ensuring full specification 2W operation up to 85C without the need for a heatsink or other external cooling device. Galvanic isolation of 1 kV dc allows the converters to be configured to provide isolated negative rails in systems where only positive rails exist. Available with 5 or 12V inputs, each can be supplied with single-ended outputs of 5, 9, 12, or 15V.

With two inputs and auxiliary control, the CS5233 is claimed to be the industry's first dual input linear regulator. It is intended to power network interface cards (NICs) and other Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus cards. The ATX bus specification defines two 5V sources (V input and V standby ), and one auxiliary 3.3V source. An on-chip regulator powers output loads directly when either V input or V standby is available. The single unit replaces a two diode, wired OR circuit that feeds a single input regulator.

The AlGaInP LED series reduces the component count necessary to achieve equivalent lighting levels with conventional LEDs, which cuts the total cost of lighting. The device feature a luminous intensity of up to 5,000 mcd, depending on color. Its LED die is composed of aluminum, indium, gallium, and phosphate, as opposed to a typical GaAsP LED.
