UQM Technologies has been awarded a contract from Eaton Corporation under a U.S. Department of Energy contract to develop hybrid propulsion components for trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. UQM will be developing the motor and controller while Eaton will be developing a highly integrated hybrid electric propulsion system.
