I was running down the road toward Long Island''''s historical Wardenclyffe Tower, right before a wrecking ball toasted it. Thomas Edison was driving the crane and JP Morgan, Stephen Hawking and Guglielmo Marconi were standing nearby saying to a large crowd, "Edison is such a great man!" I got there just in time and said, "Edison?...Tesla is the man you need to be thanking." Those men, that included some of the world''''s most acclaimed inventors, scientists, scholars and intellectual property thieves of all time, turned to leer at me wildly, and shout in response to my statement, "Tesla was a crank, a weirdo, and a madman!" Suddenly out of thin air a great shimmering flying saucer appeared and landed nearby. All eyes were fixed upon the door as it opened, and a thousand orange-eyed pigeons flew out in all directions. They picked up Edison, Morgan, Hawking and Marconi, and in a single-minded fashion took off skyward circling the saucer over and over as their surprised passengers'''' faces showed a mixture of astonishment and bewilderment. The crowd cheered when out of the highly polished disk, a triumphant Nikola Tesla stepped out. He strode up to me dressed magnificently, with dark aviator glasses and a smart looking hat on his head, that seemed to accentuate his high cheek bones and dark wavy hair. His tall frame was youthful and intact, as he waved his arms toward the pigeons. They flew in tight spiraling formations, soaring higher and higher until Nikola raised his arms over his head and clapped his hands loudly. A green mist appeared around the pigeons, as they towed the now terrified men onward toward a great spinning vortex throbbing in the midst of it. Tesla intensely watched as the pigeons and men disappeared into the pulsating maelstrom. Out of his pocket he pulled two metal rods of arms length and cracked them together in the direction of the dimensional divide, that opened overhead like a window into another world. Great orbs of lightning blazed forth leaping off of the rods toward the mysterious storm brewing overhead. There was a brilliant green flash of light as the ball lightning was quickly drawn into the eye of the electrical hurricane, temporarily blinding the crowd. Amazingly the storm, flying men and pigeons were all now gone by-the-time the visions had cleared. A sweet smell of ozone wafted through the air across the crowd, seeming to refresh them. Looking at the sky and then at the crowd, which spontaneously broke into an appreciative applause, Tesla the great inventor, scientist and genius smiled a knowing smile. He then re-entered the saucer appearing to radiate a long suppressed joy, as tears streamed down his face. The door closed and echoed bell-like, as the silvery craft took off like a blue-streak heavenward, disappearing as mysteriously as it came. Out of the sky rained down a ticker-tape of golden leaves. Emblazoned on each one was a message for the people, who now appeared child-like as they scurried to pick them all up. "Peace on Earth" was all it said.
