Well it's been a few weeks since I bought their Sailboar and Dragon ( and I haven't yet opened my Starterpack yet ! ) and I am not bored, neither is my 5 yo. They do challenge you but we keep finding things they work with, and combined with K'nex you can come up with pretty cool stuff.

Cool! definately an adult or teen “toy” looks like fun. BUT - I do think the player would get bored pretty fast.
