Bosch-Rexroth's online Humor and Fun Facts

Butterflies taste with their feet. A duck’s quack inexpliquably doesn’t echo. Only one in two billion people will live to be 116 or older. These are "Fun Facts" on Bosch Rexorth’s fun and humorous Creative Diversions web pages for engineers. My favorite are its Top Ten lists especially Top Ten Reasons to Date an Engineer and Ten Top Reasons Not to Date an Engineer. It has some good videos in its archive "vault", too.

Bosch Rexroth explains the rationale for humor and fun this way: "Bosch Rexroth knows that all work and no play makes for a very dull workplace. We also know, because we’re an engineering company, that often the best ideas spring from playful creativity."

Assuming Bosch is trying to create positive and innovative culture, something like this really helps. Launched in Janaury, the site capitalizes on the mentality of Southwest Airlines’ "Wanna Get Away" campaign.
